Today when Eden and Flynn and Penny came to the little park around my office building the wind was blowing in nice cold gusts. I brought a sandwich with Buffalo chicken slices in it for Eden to eat. As we ate the wind made us each colder and colder. Penny was bundled up in a knit sweater with a hood pulled tight over her head and her crusty pink chilled nose poking out as she laughed and cheered as some sort of sporting event only she could see it seemed. So I was left the only one with out a jacket to put on and I have to say that it was the first time I was cold since we’ve been out here. I tried to convince Flynn to let me hold him and carry him so i could suck up his body heat but he was having too much fun running around the pier and grass.
The film began shooting today officially. The actors were on the Jay Leno show yesterday from one of our sets but they didn’t mention anything about the film. Guess they are trying to get audiences ready and looking forward to seeing the two of them together.
Oh Yeah. We got some new board games on Monday!!!! I was so excited. I have been so good. (I think…) I have really wanted to buy a new batch of Euro Board Games for a long time but I resisted each temptation till now but this time I let it be a reward for getting the family to Boston together. I lasted 1 week short of a year since the last game order I placed. Granted a single shopping trip to Costco is equal to the amount I spend on a few games but spending on entertainment feels more guilty so I have to do it far less often then groceries. Here is what we got.
