It’s definitely Fall here. Clint’s worried that he’ll miss seeing the changing leaves since he’s working so much. I hope not. We’re really hoping he has this weekend off. His sister Lauri is coming to visit us from DC, so it would be a shame if he were not available to play. The plan is to do some Boston stuff with her, which actually is good for us, since we haven’t done it all yet (particularly Clint).

We were out strolling around and found some great piles of leaves drifting down the steps in front of the Government Center. Even though we were freezing, Flynn was eager to go try them out. I would’ve liked to go to the top and see what it looked like up there with the colorful trees and all. But we had the stroller and I didn’t see an easy access to get up there. So Flynn just enjoyed the leaves and going up and down the steps. Great way to wear a kid out.

We spent a bit of time at our favorite North End spot… the library. Penny has gotten so she’s just as excited to be there as Flynn is. She even started giggling when she saw where we were the other day. I just love our little library. It’s so great for us and having very few toys here. And Flynn has totally become best buds with the librarian. It’s really fun to see him overcome his shyness with her and just go and talk to her. She’s the best!!!

oh you are just missing the leaves changing here. It’s been so colorful and today papa and I raked the brightest red leaves off the front lawn. Tomorrow it’s the bright yellow maples leaves off the back lawn. Sadly they will all be gone by time you arrive! It was a beautiful fall this year. Slow and colorful. Hope you get to see more before it’s over in Boston!

50 degress is warm here.

Those colors are beautiful of the leaves
